What was the project?

Lead generation campaign for EMUNDIA D.O.O., RAING D.O.O., and ADRIATIC SLOVENICA D.D

Who was the client?

In this case, three clients were connected in a joint promotion – an IT equipment provider, an insurance company, and an online all-in-one equipment retailer.

The advantage of having such a co-affiliate promotion is primarily to reduce advertising costs. This way each partner commits to advertise the promotion through all of their advertising channels.

Who was the digital marketing specialist (project manager)?

What was the challenge?

The main challenge was to create a successful lead generation campaign with a minimum budget. For that purpose, we set three key objectives:

  • Getting as many new contacts as possible
  • Increasing the number of subscribers’ website traffic
  • Increasing the number of Facebook followers

We made a detailed analysis and set minimum KPI requirements:

  • 5.000 new contacts
  • 2.000 new subscribers
  • 100 Facebook followers

What were the results?

Not only did we manage to achieve minimum KPI requirements but we also exceeded them.

By carrying out the promotion we obtained:

  • 7.965 new contacts
  • 1.500 new subscribers
  • 250 new Facebook followers

How we did it?

We executed a viral promotion in the form of viral sweepstakes for over 30 days. Each participant had to submit their personal data to participate and agree to the terms and conditions.

All contacts were obtained following all applicable laws. We’ve also included:

  • Increasing the traffic to client’s websites
  • Increasing the number of Facebook followers

Each participant received a “thank you” note inviting them to visit the client’s website, as well as being able to become their Facebook follower.

Conclusion

The promotion achieved a great response rate and we exceeded the planned “contacts obtained” limit. The viral response was more than 32%, meaning that more than a third of the participants were obtained due to a viral effect. 

Based on a good promotion result, WIZ has decided to carry out a standalone promotion. We received very good feedback from the participants related to the diversity of the prize pool itself.
