A client came to me a few weeks before Christmas with a wish and a vision. What a treat for a designer to have the chance to co-create a new brand.
This was a typical “tabula rasa case”- only a focused, well prepared* client wishing to launch a brand new brand of products for personal use. A typical B2C case. His concept was clean and simple – to make a line of vaping aromatic oils for each day of the week.
The client commissioned me to design a complete corporate visual design and packaging for the entire line of seven products.
*WELL-PREPARED CLIENT has a well-formulated idea of what he wants. He knows his niche market and can describe his customers well. He did his research and knows what the competition is doing and above all, he knows who he is – his identity and purpose are clear as well as his goals for the next 5, 10, or even more years.
Who was the client?
The client was an ambitious entrepreneur, a vaping aficionado with a background in IT. He decided to launch a line of vaping aromatic oils that he designed himself – one aroma for each day of the week.
What was the challenge goal?
Design a logo and the essential corporate materials – a business card and a quotation template.
Design a packaging line for the aromatic vaping oils and a web page.
